history being made

It's amazing, in less than 2 months, I've lived through two events that will forever go down into history books.

1. The dismal downfall of the American economy and what could be the worst recession in our life, comparable to the Great Depression of the 1930s. This will forever shape the way banks operate, how we regulate our economy, the class textbook cases of Adam Smith vs. Marx in economic ideology.

2. On a more positive side - Barack Obama wins the presidential elections to become America's first african-american president. There's so much positivity about his win, you can't help but feel that maybe one person can make all the difference.

We can only hope and pray that things will get better!
