I don't know how some women can not like shoes! I can just go through pages and pages of bimbotic reading looking just at shoes. I may be jaded about life, men, entire dating scenario, empty bank account, future. But shoes, I sure got a passion for shoes.
What you can learn about life from shoes:
- You can never have enough of them.
- The will is mightier than the body. ie. If you love shoes that much, you learn to run in 3 inch heels for buses.
When I first started working, shoe budgets were like $70. Anything more would be considered frivalous.
Then it was $90.
Then $100.
Now my threshold is at $130. ONLY, and I swear on my latest BCBG 3 inch Pink Stilletos, only if it they are on sale.
Ah, those pink stilletos, they were my last buy before I was out of a job. Obviously I can't wear them to Bath. Can you imagine, I'll be painfully trying to trudge up the hills of Claverton Down in 3 inch, which will absolutely ruin my calves for those UGG boots that I want.
ooooo UGGs. I used to think they were hideous. Still think some of the more common designs are. But then I came across the Uptown II. It was love at first sight.
Obviously, sunny island doesn't carry UGG, why doesn't anyone carry UGG in always-sunny-hot-and-humid tropical paradise?
So yes, they cost USD190, excluding taxes and shipping. Wondering if I can get them any cheaper in the UK.
