For the past 4 days, I have been searching for a postbox. And in my mind, I was thinking of a red pillar postbox, and been keeping my eyes open for that.
It just occurred to me this morning that the postboxes in Singapore are not pillar. They are boxy, rectangular and predominantly white. So of course I haven't posted my letter.
Not that it sucks to be back. I am enjoying my time with family, especially the rascals. But I am disgusted by some people's behaviour in Singapore. Last Thursday, my mom, helper and I took the train home. It was 6pm and the train was packed. No one gave up their seat for my mom. None of the youngster bothered. Some pretended to sleep. Others blatantly just refused to give up their seats. Till a 40+ lady got up and gave her seat to my mom. And sat back only after my mom alighted.
Shame on you Singaporeans. I am so disgusted by your behaviour.
