all signs point to...

 I having been thinking of getting my own place in recent months. It'll still be a long time more before I do, with what the crazy property markets skyrocketing in prices like nobody's business. But the thought of taking over my dad's place did cross my mind a couple of months back. Great location, and I like the convenience that it is just 2 min walk to NTUC and everything else I need. (Well, everything else I need actually would be living 2 mins to Marketplace or Cold Storage but...)

So mentally I've been making a list, about the pros and cons of taking over this place, and buying my own.

So far the pros of getting over my dad's place:

• Staying somewhere where I am familiar with
• Close to facilities and amenities that I need/don't need but good to have
• Staying with my parents
• Money goes back to my dad

Cons are:

• Staying with my parents (the noise that my dad makes in the morning, for that matter, day, noon and night)
• Paying for a place to have my bro, his wife, daughter and maid come crash anytime they feel like it. I'm paying for it dammit and I ought to have a say whom I want in the house
• No way in hell I'll be able to get my pet
• Did I mention already how irritating my dad can get?
• Or my bro and his gang coming over
