inky fingers, inky shirt

You know one sure sign when I've been doing work - my hands and sometimes tees become a canvas for uncapped pens.

Doesn't help that I like the sort of Pilot V-5 sort of inky pens. OMG I just checked out the price of those in the UK - it's £5.49 for a pack of 3, which means it's like S$5 for one!

I could be a millionaire trading Pilot V5 pens!

Hmmm perhaps I so do the net present value (NPV) of the expected returns, based on cashflow streams in UK, deducting the cost of sales (airplane tix & buying the pens in Singapore), then adjusting for currencies and inflation. If NPV is greater than 0, it's worth it!

I betcha you're going HUH? or more vulgarly - WTF?

Yup, exact sentiments too. That has been my thought for the whole of this week - WTF IS GOING ON?!

Welcome to the world of accounting and corporate finance.

I mean no doubt, it is an interesting topic, but I have a feeling that after this course, I can easily find out what I want to do, by process of elimination.

1. Accountant x
2. Finance Manager x
3. Economist x
4. Strategist x
5. Marketer
6. Consultant

Doesn't seem like I have many more options to cross out. oooooo panick, panick, breathee. So far the course has:

1. Set my small little brain into a flurry of confusion by highlighting things that I do not know - conscious incompetence
2. Highlighted that my network of people I know sucks - conscious incompetence.
3. Mostly put me in a panick mode cos I am behind on readings
4. Obliterated whatever chance I had of a social life, except for the folks at Sainsbury's.

And they keep telling me that I'll earn big bucks post-MBA? I dont think so mister!
