loud speakers

Hmm for those who really know me, know that I may not be the world's most PC person around.

Just that staying in the UK has made me more exposed to other ethnic groups, and some of them speak really loudly; and the thing is, they don't realise that they are screaming into another person's ear.

Case in point: While waiting for 418 on my way home, had this gal behind me speaking in her native language, either very happy that she is with her bunch of friends or something, but her voice was sooooooo painfully shrill, plus at like 20000 decibels and the fact that my ear was in direct path from her mouth, so you can imagine... I actually cringed when she spoke, and turned around a couple of times with serious look of disgust, but the gal was too daft to notice.

Case in point 2: On the bus back home today, this other gal, picked up her fone and started speaking, real loud. hmmm It may be in a foreign language to most people on the bus, still, the volume of it was annoying.

Case in point 3: People here generally like to chat within confined spaces - like in buses - which if you slam 140 people on one bright orange bus, make them all speak at once, it can give you one hell of a headache.

Talking about loud, neighbours were having 1 hour of sex-a-thon yesterday. Of course moaner was doing his usual moaning. It had to be on the day that I decide to sleep early to make up for my sleep deficit for the whole week. NB.

Of course today I am armed. Dashed off to Sainsbury's after school today and bought a pack of camomille tea - 40 bags of it. That should put me into a comatose state...I hope. :)

And hopefully, no one gets ANY tonite. Grrrrr
